KEY Engineering Group was involved in the expansion project of Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s (HJAIA) T-North Concourse, specifically providing electrical engineering services for United Airlines’ 16,000 sqft tenant space at four gates.
The electrical design services included developing power plans, lighting plans, electrical one-line diagrams, and panelboard schedules using Revit software. The design adhered to the 2020 National Electrical Code (NEC) with Georgia Amendments, the 2015 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) with Georgia Supplements and Amendments, and the emergency lighting requirements of the 2018 NFPA 101.
In addition to the tenant space, KEY Engineering Group also provided electrical design services for United Airlines’ Holdroom spaces at Gates 17, 18, 19, and 20 on the boarding level of Concourse T. This involved designing and specifying floor-mounted poke-thru devices to power various equipment such as powered seats, ELO Stations, FLIFO Stations, and Agent Kiosk Counters.
