2017-2019

Highlights

  • Field investigation of electrical equipment
  • Electrical Drawing Development
  • Equipment Naming
  • Conduit labels and Phenolics
  • It was the first time in many years that as-built electrical drawings had been created for the entire CPTC. These as-built drawings are crucial for any new electrical installation and for locating equipment during an emergency outage.
KEY Engineering Group was tasked with carrying out a study of the existing conditions of the entire 4160V, 480/277V, 208/120V, and 120/240V electrical distribution systems for the Hartsfield Jackson International Airport Atlanta (HJAIA), with a focus on the Domestic Terminal, Concourse T, and Concourse A. This project covers 3 main areas:

    • Survey, Verification, and Documentation of Field Conditions
    • Identification & Naming of All Electrical Equipment Per DOA Standards
    • Development of Engineering Drawings

KEY personnel partnered with an electrical contractor to gather field data, acquiring vital electrical information on equipment like Georgia Power vaults, DOA-owned unit substations, switchgears, switchboards, panelboards, MCCs, transformers, and feeder sizes.
