  • The Domestic CV & Taxi Hold Lot project was undertaken to address the need for a surface parking lot and a building to support the operations of commercial and taxi vehicles at Hartsfield- Jackson Atlanta International Airport (HJAIA). Several tasks were carried out to accommodate this facility.

Firstly, the project involved relocating existing underground utilities and a sanitary lift station. KEY Engineering Group was crucial in coordinating and designing the circuits for the relocated lift station, ensuring its smooth operation. Additionally, the team worked closely with the electric utility to relocate its primary circuits and pad-mount transformers.

KEY Engineering Group also provided electrical design services for constructing the new building and parking lot. The power system was specifically designed to accommodate the building’s electrical loads, including a highly efficient HVAC system, water heaters, kitchen equipment, and special system loads. To promote sustainability, a photovoltaic system was specified and integrated into the building’s power system, with KEY Engineering Group ensuring a seamless interconnection.
