EMMANUEL K. YUH, P.Ε

Emmanuel is the CEO of Key Engineering Group, Inc., with 38 years of experience in design, construction administration, and facilities engineering.

He has been the Lead Design Engineer and Engineer of Record for multiple projects, including runway lighting, terminals, and emergency operation centers. 

Focusing on aviation design and construction, Emmanuel’s expertise has contributed to successful multimillion-dollar projects in the field.

Vice President - Operations

GARY H. LOTT, P.E.

Mr. Lott is the Vice President of Operations at KEY Engineering Group, Inc., and manages the South Carolina Office, with a remarkable 35-year background in airfield electrical design and construction administration.

Throughout his career, he has successfully executed projects involving various airfield lighting systems, guidance signs, generator systems, and NAVAID systems.

Mr. Lott’s expertise extends to runway lighting, taxiway lighting, apron floodlighting, control systems, vault equipment, and NAVAID installations, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of airfield electrical infrastructure.

Chief Electrical Engineer

MATTHEW J. SMITH, P.Ε.

Matthew is a highly skilled professional with over 22 years of expertise in electrical, lighting, security, and communications systems design.

He has extensive experience in roadway and area lighting, CCTV surveillance systems, and building electrical design.

He has successfully managed projects as a lead engineer and project manager, overseeing the development and coordination of technical aspects from start to finish.

Lead Mechanical Engineer

BRUCE DUFF, P.E.

Mr. Duff is a seasoned mechanical engineer with over 30 years of experience, specializing in addressing client issues, renovations, expansions, and new construction programs.

His diverse project portfolio encompasses industrial, institutional, educational, and commercial projects, ranging from greenfield plants to data centers and airports. Mr. Duff’s expertise spans across various areas of mechanical engineering, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, fire protection, energy conservation, and utility services, while also excelling in troubleshooting, program development, construction documentation, and system commissioning.

KEY offers the in-house ability to cover a wide range of electrical design phase and construction phase services. We have built-relationship with other consultants that complement our services allowing our clients the opportunity for one-stop-shopping for full service Architectural and engineering services. Our electrical engineering expertise included;

Facilities Engineering

EY takes ownership of the facilities, interviews facilities operators, familiarizes themselves with all issues at hand in order to provide engineering technical assistance to the end-users regarding the planning, design, construction and construction management of facilities.

Under the Facilities management program KEY also offers operation and maintenance services as needed.

Construction Quality Control

Our services cover transportation facilities, commercial and industrial buildings as well as governmental agencies. KEY offers independent record keeping and preparation of reports for inspection and testing; interpretation of plans and specification; monitoring and/or observance of construction activities to check and confirm adherence to specified progress, quality and safety practices.

KEY offers these services to support pre-construction, construction and project close-out activities.
